Thomas was born and raised in Hong Kong and moved to San Francisco in the late 60’s as a teenager. He graduated from Galileo High and UC Berkeley in Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering. He became a Christian in 1969 at SF Cumberland Church, and started serving in youth fellowships and various ministries in the church. In the late 1980s, he moved to S.F. Evangelical Free Church and served mostly in the leadership and church growth areas. He came to Sunset Church in 1997 and soon joined the membership. Presently he is serving as an elder and involved in leadership, planning, family group ministry, and outreach development.

Thomas has been married for 35 years and together they are blessed with three children. Thomas worked in various technology companies in the Silicon Valley for the past 35 years. Outside of the church, he is also serves as a board member for “Showers Of Blessing Evangelistic Ministry”, “Builder of Christian Artists”; and hosting the Bay Area Christian Herald radio program on AM1450 every Friday night. For hobbies, he enjoys cooking, music, and traveling.
