On Sunday night, fires started to ignite in Northern California. The combination of those fires and winds reaching over 50mph caused the fires to spread at an uncontrollable rate. Officials have said this was one of the most destructive fire emergencies in the state’s history.

As we face these disasters in the world, we must continue to pray. We must also remember that God is sovereign.

  • Pray for those who have lost loved ones.
  • Pray for those who had to evacuate and may have lost their home.
  • Pray for the fire fighters and first responders.
  • Pray for the churches to help provide relief in whatever way is needed.

A practical way that you can help is to donate needed supplies. Sunset Church is no longer receiving donations, but supplies can be dropped off 24/7 at:

Sheriff’s Office:

Phone #: 415-206-8063

120 14th Street

San Francisco, CA 94103

They are receiving gift cards as well.

There is a need for drivers to bring supplies from Sunset Church to 1 Moreland Drive on Friday morning. If you are willing to drive, please sign up below.
