Bilingual (English/ Chinese) Patient Service Specialist (PSS) / Office Administrator needed for Outpatient Physical Therapy Clinic in Inner Sunset San Francisco
In this position you will coordinate patient appointments and scheduling for the clinic in order to ensure optimal clinician productivity and customer satisfaction. You will support the business through providing exceptional customer service and cultivating relationships with referral providers.
The responsibilities include obtaining and entering patient data, billing and insurance information in order to maintain current and precise patient files and billing system data. You will answer and direct inquiries from patients, referral sources, payors and co-workers in order to provide timely and accurate responses. This important position helps optimize reimbursement and customer satisfaction through the verification of insurance eligibility and patient benefits.
Requirements: Previous job related experience with prior patient scheduling/healthcare experience is desirable. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with good interpersonal skills. Through effective organizational, time management and planning skills this role will demonstrate the essential ability to multitask and show a commitment to exceptional professionalism, confidentiality and customer service. This role requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, in order to accurately and concisely communicate with physicians, therapists and patients.
